Agape Boarding School may be shut down, but what’s going on in the cases surrounding the owners, former employees, and associates?

David E Smock – Former School Physician

The Cedar County criminal case involving David Smock has been moved to Dade County. Smock faces a dozen charges including Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy, Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15 and 1st Degree Stalking.

Smock last appeared in court on March 14th, 2023 in an attempt to reconsider bond. His next scheduled hearing is a phone conference scheduled for May 26th, 2023.

In a civil case filed in Vernon County, Smock may be giving a videotaped deposition. There is a hearing scheduled for this case on May 16th, 2023.

This looks to be a busy month for the owner of Level 4 Medical.

Julio Sandoval – Former Dean of Students

Julio Sandoval, former Dean and transporter for Agape Boarding School has taken his services elsewhere and is now working at ABM Ministries in Piedmont, MO.

He was arrested in 2022 on Federal charges after violating a protection order against a minor.

As of right now, his Transport company Safe Sound Secure Youth Ministries has dissolved its LLC and has not filed a registration report for the nonprofit of the same name and as such it has been administratively dissolved.

In June of 2022, Sandoval was issued a parking violation in St Louis. He currently has an active warrant issued for Failure to Appear on March 30th, 2023.

Agape Ranch Rebrand

Since the issues with Agape Boarding School, Agape Ranch has rebranded to RPM Ranch, owned by Rockwater LLC. Rockwater now owns some of the Agape Property and is advertised a leadership and Character-Growth Camp.
