This morning, Lawyers from the Office of the Attorney General should be at a hearing in Cedar County, MO. Instead the fight continues after new revelations in the last week regarding Agape Boarding School in Stockton, MO.
After an order was issues only weeks ago to shut down the school, moves have been made to keep it open. Now, it’s come to light that administrators at Agape Boarding School have decided that perhaps they will shut down after all and move the boys currently under their care into group homes.
One such home has already been registered with the Missouri Secretary of State called Stone of Help. The new non-profit was registered on September 15th, 2022 by Jennifer and Jason Derksen. The couple, one a coach at Agape, reside on campus at 12978 E 1430 Rd, Stockton, MO.
This move is one that is very familiar to the founders of Agape who faced similar issues in Othello, Washington after Department of Health Investigators found numerous code violations.
