A man walking his dog on the 3700 block of Fall Creek Road located and reported skeletal remains to Branson Police. Today, a forensic odontologist confirmed that the remains belonged to David Koenig, a young man reported missing last year in Branson.
Since David was reported missing, his family has searched tirelessly for him, hosting many search parties with the help of volunteers. The Branson Police partnered with many local agencies in attempted to find the missing MMA fighter.
Tonight, many local residents are turning on their blue porch lights in memory of David.
