James Phelps’s Early Years
James Phelps was born in 1963 to Mary and Charles Phelps. He grew up in Preston, Missouri where his brother still owns property today. Phelps attended Skyline High School in Urbana, Missouri where he made the honor roll multiple times and graduated in 1981.
After graduating, Phelps joined the Army and was stationed for a time in South Carolina. In 1991, Phelps and his wife moved to Nemo, Missouri from St. Louis.
